Welcome to Babies and Toddlers...
A very warm welcome to Biggar Babies and Toddlers Group. The group meets twice a week on a Tuesday and Thursday during term time and always look forward to welcoming new members.
Our aims and objectives are : To provide an environment which encourages education and social development for babies and children under five whilst providing a friendly and supportive network for parents and carers.
Biggar Babies and Toddlers Group caters for children from 0 months to 5 years. We have a wide range of toys including baby walkers, soft play, ride-ons, role play toys, books, puzzles and construction.
We also have a quiet baby corner with bouncy chairs, playmat and baby toys.
Arlyn is our friendly and efficient play leader and she is responsible for setting out the toys before each session and serving the childrens snack. This consists of fruit, some raisins and a biscuit. Juice is also available, but please provide your child's own cup.
There is also tea and coffee for the adults, included in the door fee.
There is a nominal annual registration fee of £10 regardless of the number of children you bring. People joining after Christmas will pay a reduced fee of £5. All money taken on the door go towards the hire of the hall, our play leaders wages, insurance and snacks.
Biggar Babies and Toddler Group is a registered charity organisation ran by a committee of volunteers, who meet every few months to organise fundraising events, the Christmas part, toy maintenance and any other issues of the day to day workings of the group. Any feedback or suggestions on improving the group are always welcome.
